Senior Collections Associate – Financial Services Industry, Bracknell

Senior Collections Associate Permanent Leasing Finance or Asset Finance Experience Essential £30,000 – £35,000 per annum + Free Parking, Canteen, Fun Environment We are delighted to be supporting one of the UK’s leading Asset Finance businesses who are based locally in central Bracknell. We are looking to recruit an experienced individual who lives and breathes asset finance and is truly passionate about the industry. You will be able to hit the ground running, bring expertise and knowledge to pass onto other people as well as being responsible for all phases of collection activity across the businesses leasing products. You will be an experienced professional with a track record within Credit Control. Enthusiasm and energy are essential and you will enjoy working in a highly rewarding environment – in an ideal world you will want to embrace the philosophy to “help our customers pay on time” Daily Responsibilities * Daily contact with customer via telephone, email and letter – negotiating payment of any invoices past due * Handling inbound and outbound collections calls and responding to all customer queries * Working towards targets of 40+ outbound customer calls per day * Review and manage late arrears * Work with external bodies to assist in the recovery of funds and equipment * Assist the cash applications team in ensuring payments are allocated correctly Experience Required * Previous experience working within a Collections/Credit Role for a asset finance or leasing business * Understanding of vendor programmes and asset finance * An understanding of liquidation/bankruptcies would be advantageous * To be able to demonstrate strong customer relation/negotiation skills * Excellent analytical and administration skills * Proficient using Microsoft Office * Ability to work within an un supervised environment * Graduate qualification within business, economics or accountancy would be desirable but not essential If you are looking for a new challenge where you can make the role your own, as well as work within a dynamic and forward thinking business who value their staff then please contact Paige Harding on Office Angels acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
