ROLE This is an opportunity for a bright and enthusiastic individual to join a busy marketing team and learn the latest techniques, strategies and tools for digital marketing. The role will involve supporting the existing UK marketing team with the day to day running of the company’s marketing activities, executing key marketing strategies across the company’s three customer business areas including retail, enterprise and channel partners. The successful candidate will be a reliable, proactive, self-motivated individual, with a responsible nature. Able to take direction well, learn new systems/processes promptly and work on one’s own initiative, the ideal candidate will be contented with carrying out a number of key administrative based marketing duties within the department. RESPONSIBILITIES * Assist with the execution of all marketing campaigns and events including the preparation of data, coordination of marketing materials, presentations, signage and distribution of email, demand generation, content and social media campaigns. * Contact new channel partners by sending a marketing information pack, ensuring content is always kept up to date with the latest products and offers. * Assist in updates of regional web site pages as necessary, as well as updates of marketing collateral/PDFs including datasheets and user guides, ensuring content is accurate and the style is in keeping with branding guidelines. * Assist in scheduling and posting of company blogs/social media/press releases as needed on company website and social media outlets. * Generate a range of key marketing reports for the marketing department and the management team. * Create and execute a range of marketing surveys to customers across all business channels, analysing results and presenting and reporting key findings. * Organise print and merchandise with external suppliers. * Provide general ad hoc support to the marketing team as and when required. KNOWLEDGE, KEY SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES * Strong work ethic with history of stable attendance, along with good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage individual workload to meet deadlines. * Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate confidently and effectively with customers, internal departments (sales, client services and finance), as well as management. * IT literate and a competent user of Microsoft Office (especially Word, PowerPoint and Excel with the ability to mail merge documents and manipulate data). Some desktop publishing experience using Adobe Cloud tools is helpful. * Excellent attention to detail skills with a keen eye for accuracy. * Some previous HTML editing and publishing experience is preferred but not required, with good knowledge of the Internet as a whole and an understanding of the business opportunities that it presents. * Highly motivated with the ability to work both on own initiative and as a team player. * Flexible and adaptable to an ever changing, fast paced industry. * Fluency in a European Language would be an advantage EDUCATION * Previous Marketing Experience or a relevant degree is essential. * Educated to degree level in marketing or a relevant discipline or equivalent experience/ vocational qualifications. * The successful candidate will be trained on all relevant products and technology. You will need to form a thorough understanding of the products, marketplace and competition, but do not need to be highly technical.
