Internal Communications Assistant – Full Time – Wimbledon, South West London We are looking for a highly organised and enthusiastic Internal Communications Assistant to join our vibrant Communications and CSR department based in our Head Office in Wimbledon, South West London.
With over 22,000 people working for Lidl GB in a variety of different roles and locations across the country, internal communications is instrumental in supporting the delivery of key business updates to ensure that colleagues remain informed, engaged and motivated. This new role is a brilliant opportunity for someone with a background in and passion for communication, and excellent creative copy-writing skills. As a real people person you will thrive in this highly collaborative role, which will provide the opportunity to work with many teams and individuals across the business. Working directly alongside the Internal Communications Officer and reporting into the Senior Corporate Communications Manager, you will support the development and delivery of Lidl GB’s internal communications strategy, and the effective day-to-day management of key internal communication channels.
*** Please note, your contractual job title will be Administrator – Internal Communications*** What will you do? •Supporting the Internal Communications Officer with the management of key communication channels, including the intranet
•Leading the planning and production of internal communications content
•Working collaboratively with departments and individuals across the business to source and coordinate news and features
•Developing existing and new internal communications channels
•Assisting with the development and delivery of the internal communications strategy
•Providing administrative support to the team What will you need? •Previous experience within internal communications is advantageous
•Exceptional creative copywriting skills with proven experience
•Experience using Adobe Photoshop and InDesign
•Experience using Sharepoint would be an advantage
•Proactive and driven with a dedicated work ethic
•Meticulous eye for detail
•Ability to work to strict deadlines
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
•Strong working knowledge of Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
•Self-motivated
•Ability to work in a fast paced environment
•German language skills would be beneficial but not essential What do we offer? •£22,000 – £27,000 (subject to experience)
